Earlier today I showed you a picture of a cluttered office, with some suggestions for improvement. Well, we transformed the office that just “happened” (pictured below) into a sophisticated workspace (pictured above)! Can you believe it’s the same room?

Before

A “Library-Office” feel is always sexy. Rich but cool wall colors look dramatic but they aren’t distracting. Instead, cool colors allow for concentration and calm. For this office, we chose a multi-purpose desk for multiple users. The desk could even be pulled into the middle of the room for projects and crafts or family game night. The repetition of bookshelves creates sculpture and drama. The shelves also could have easily been standard bookcases with doors for more storage – you can choose whatever is right for your needs. Chandeliers always add beautiful light and every room can have one, even your office!
